Cut the onions into thin slices and cook in butter until tender. Sprinkle with a spoonful of flour and remove from heat.
Beat the eggs with the milk and the remaining flour, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Add the onions and half cheese, cut into cubes.
Place the shortcrust pasty in a greased baking tray and pour the mixture on it.
Sprinkle with the remaining Swiss cheese, grated.
Bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 30 minutes.
Allow to cool a few minutes before serving.

250g shortcrust pasty
2 white onions
30g butter
150g Swiss cheese
2 eggs
100ml milk
50g all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tps white pepper
