In a pan, fry the garlic over low heat with olive oil.
Add the anchovy fillets and melt them. Discard the garlic.
Pour the bread crumbs in a small saucepan and cook it for a few minutes, stirring often until golden brown.
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti normally in boiling salted water until al dente.
Drain well, pour the pasta into the pan with the oil and mix.
Sprinkle with the toasted breadcrumbs and serve immediately.
Pasta with Breadcrumbs and Anchovies
Serves four:
400g spaghetti
50g breadcrumbs
8 anchovy fillets
1 clove garlic
6 tbsp olive oil
