Fry the bacon in butter for several minutes, until it changes color.
Remove from pan and set aside.

Arrange in a buttered baking pan of 30 cm diameter.

Mince the ginger and fry in the same pan of the bacon.

Cover the bottom of the baking pan.

Add the chili and the leek cut into thin slices and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add peas and cook for about ten minutes.

Pour the leek, peas and ginger into the pan, and then put the bacon.

Meanwhile, lightly flatten the slices of white bread with a rolling pin to make them more flexible.

Beat eggs with milk, flour and grated cheese and pour on cake.
Bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 20-25 minutes.
