Boil the potatoes in salad water, until tender. Peel and mash them with a potato masher.
Mince the onion and combine all ingredients in a blender or electric grinder and grind until mixture is a puree.
Serve hot.

1/2 tsp. grinded cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. grinded pepper
